Annet Mahendru

Mahendru a Russian Indian mother was born in Afghanistan. She can speak fluent German Russian English, French Persian as well Hindi. Annet Mahendru, born in India to an Indian father and a Russian father as well as an Indian mother, is proficient of both Indian and Russian. An improvised performance she choreographed at the age of 11 that aired on German television, turned her into the Russian dancer and snow maiden. The girl graduated high school at the age of 11 in New York before earning a bachelor of Arts (English) at St. John's University. Following her high school years, she took classes in acting at HB but subsequently enrolled in improv in Groundlings School. She then took on several comedy roles. She was raised in Kabul Afghanistan by a Hindu/Indian father Ghanshan Mahendru, as well as an Russian-speaking mother Olga. She moved with her father to East Meadow, New York at the age of thirteen and a half years old. She is a part of FX's The Americans alongside Matthew Rhys. Television actress most famous for her portrayal of the former KGB Agent Nina Sergeevna Krilova on FX's The Americans. The actress also appeared on Fox's The Following and NBC's The Blacklist.
